Malin Holm is a researcher and teacher in political science at the Department of Government, Uppsala University in Sweden. Her research focuses on social media, gender and political communication. In particular, she has investigated how the governance of platforms as well as their affordances shape power dynamics in political processes and practices. Her publications on these topics have appeared in journals such as Social Politics, Politics and Gender, PS: Political Science and Politics and The European Journal of Politics and Gender. In the MEN4DEM project, her research will focus on how masculinity is constructed and mobilized by far-right influencers as well as within misogynist and antifeminist online communities.
