Vera Lomazzi is associate professor of Sociology at the Department of Management at the University of Bergamo (Italy). She is President of the European Survey Research Association (ESRA) and secretary of the Executive Committee of the European Values Study. Her substantive research mainly focuses on the cross-cultural study of gender equality, gender role attitudes, and values change. She has a specific interest in the quality of the instruments adopted by large cross-sectional survey programs and on their measurement equivalence. Also, she provides applied research, consultancy, and training on survey methodology, values and intergenerational change, gender equality, cross-cultural communication to companies, NGO, and public administration.
