Francesca Tomatis is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the University of Bergamo. Her research focuses on family dynamics, fertility, life courses, gender inequalities, and education. She investigates how family formation and fertility decisions are shaped by educational attainment and gender roles, and how these processes contribute to inequalities over time. She is also interested in how family dynamics and gender inequalities intersect with broader aspects of inequality to shape individuals’ life chances and opportunities.
