Fabrizio Arcuri is a PhD candidate in Sociology in the “Human sciences and Welfare innovation” program at the University of Bergamo. His research focuses on the circulation of Manosphere imaginary on TikTok, with a particular emphasis on analyzing its memes, its engagement with pop, trash, and nerd culture, and its connections to far-right and alt-right ideologies.
He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Philosophy from the University of Pisa, where he concentrated on the works of Nietzsche and René Girard.
His current research interests encompass social imaginary, mimetic theory, and the sociological dimensions of paranoia, resentment, and victimhood.
