Brit Anlar will complete her doctorate in Political Science from Rutgers University in 2024. She has research interests in age and gender in political representation and has expertise in political parties and political party youth wings. She has also been a consultant on several international projects aimed at promoting more equal representation of women and young people in decision-making institutions and is the founder of the Youth Political Representation Research Network.
Throughout 2023-2024, Brit worked as a legislative aide in the U.S. Congress and as a policy aide to state legislators across the United States. She holds two master’s degrees, one in Political Science from Rutgers University, and one in International Political Economy from Istanbul Bilgi University. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Women’s and Gender Studies from Montana State University-Bozeman.
