Theoni Stathopoulou is a sociologist, Research Director at the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE), and a faculty member of the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma at Harvard Medical School. With extensive experience in large-scale survey research (WVS, ESS), she served as the National Coordinator for Round 10 of the European Social Survey in Greece. She has held positions with the Hellenic Statistical Authority, representing the European Statistical Advisory Committee (ESAC-EUROSTAT), the National Council for Research and Innovation, and the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation. She is the scientific lead for CLARIN (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure) at EKKE. Her recent work has appeared in the Journal of Refugee Studies, the European Journal of Public Health, Social Science & Medicine:Population Health, and the Journal of Prevention.
