Manina Kakepaki is a Principal Researcher at the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE) - Institute of Political Research. She has studied Political Science and Political Behaviour in Athens and Essex and has a Ph.D. from the University of Athens. Her research experience and publications are on topics related to political representation, youth political participation and gender and politics. She was National Coordinator for Greece of the R11 of the European Social Survey and her latest work is a co-edited volume from Palgrave-Macmillan (Parliamentary Elites in Transition. Political Representation in Greece) and the book Gender, Youth, Politics (Kallipos Academic Editions).
